This marks the first installment of Poem of the Week.
“Coming Soon,” an original poem by yours truly, is a poem attempting to ridicule the glut of “reality” tv and consumerism by sarcastically joining in on the fun. I wrote this poem last year when feeling frustrated about the state of the world and what gets the focus. Anaphora (repetition of words at the beginning of lines) is a cathartic tool in writing; I suggest it.
